It began with a question : what could be the new suit?
Something classy yet sensual, traditional yet untamed, masculine yet fluid.
The answer came like a secret: le peignoir,  the traditional men’s dressing gown.
Once confined to private rooms, it now steps freely into the light.

 

That’s how Gentlemen Without Manners was born: a wink to the classics, a salute to freedom,
a love letter to the art of being a man and to the quiet desire to dress men, in order to undress them.

THE CRAFT

Somewhere between an old jazz record and a dirty martini Gentlemen Without Manners lives where tradition flirts with modernity.
Tailored lines, a crooked smile, and a taste for things that age well: leather, linen, a story well told.

Every creation begins with noble fabrics: cotton, silk, velvet, jacquard, or the slow beauty of handwoven Batik and Banarasi.
We source from Asia, Africa, and Europe, chasing textures that whisper.
Each piece is made in small quantities, by hand, with intent.
